KYD-X is a not-for-profit organisation developed to help raise awareness, promote discussion, discover solutions, and create opportunities for young people living with disabilities to enjoy every day experiences, every day.

Launched in 2016, the Kids & Youth Disability Expo - which showcases more than 120 exhibitors - was created to help parents and carers of young people living with disability make informed choices about the products and services available to them.

The 2021 event is being held at Priceline Stadium, Keswick on Saturday, October 9. Kudos Services CEO Darrin Johnson says he’s delighted the provider will be supporting the expo as its major sponsor.

“This is a really important event for South Australian families and carers given there are a huge number of options for services available,” he says. “So being able to access such a significant number of potential suppliers all in one place, in a disability friendly environment for families, is a major plus and a natural fit for us to get behind.”

Vision Australia Radio National Community Partnerships Coordinator Jason Gipps is pleased that the organisation’s radio reading network will be back on board with KYD-X in 2021.

“Vision Australia Radio is an essential service for people of all ages who live with a print disability. Its our duty to keep our community informed of events like the Kids & Youth Disability Expo which provides them with opportunities to enhance everyday living and which provide better pathways to social inclusion.”
