Vision Australia Radio nominated for four broadcast awards

We are thrilled to announce that Vision Australia Radio has been nominated in four categories at the upcoming Community Broadcasting Association of Australia awards.

White Cane Day Concert

The Vision Australia White Cane Day Concert was broadcast across the network on October 15. 

It featured musical performances and special messages from The Wiggles, American Idol finalist Scott MacIntyre, America’s Got Talent winner Kodi Lee and The Voice Australia alumni Racheal Leahcar, as well as many more.

Peter Greco focuses on audio description in commercials

Internet and mobile provider Belong Mobile has released a number of audio described TV commercials.  

Focal Point’s Peter Greco recently caught up with Kelly Schulz from Belong Mobile to chat about why the organisation chose to use audio description and its impact.

Kids and Youth Disability Expo

For a third year running, Vision Australia Radio was a media partner for the KYD-X Kids and Youth Disability eXpo. 

The event was held online on September 26 and gave service providers a platform to showcase their services and equipment which can be accessed through NDIS funding.
