Vision Australia Radio has once again raised the bar for inclusive and accessible broadcasting, proudly receiving a record nine finalist nominations at the upcoming 2025 Community Radio Awards.
This remarkable achievement follows the success of 2024, where our Disability Radio Network was recognised with eight nominations – at the time, a record for our organisation. In 2025, we’ve gone one better, with nominations across nine diverse categories, recognising the creativity, dedication, and impact of our volunteers and staff.
Conrad Browne, Manager of Vision Australia Radio and Audio, said the milestone highlights the strength of the network’s community spirit:
“To see Vision Australia Radio recognised across nine categories this year is simply outstanding. Each nomination reflects the passion of our volunteers, presenters, and staff, who work tirelessly to make broadcasting accessible, engaging, and inclusive. These awards celebrate the people who believe in the power of radio to connect communities and I couldn’t be prouder of our network.”
