Vision Australia Radio’s live outside broadcast from the ATSA Independent Living Expo Adelaide

Vision Australia Radio recently wrapped up a special two‑day outside live broadcast from the ATSA Independent Living Expo at the Adelaide Showgrounds, bringing listeners live conversations, practical information and community voices from across the assistive technology and disability sector.

Conceived by the team at Vision Australia Radio, with the support of network sponsor Assistive Technology Suppliers Australia, the broadcast was delivered with the support of Vision Australia Radio Adelaide staff and volunteers, alongside fellow community broadcaster Radio Adelaide. Together, the teams co‑presented an informative and engaging program across two full days, interviewing event organisers, service providers, advocates and community organisations who share a common goal of improving accessibility, inclusion and day‑to‑day independence for people living with disability.

Throughout the broadcast, listeners heard firsthand how assistive technology, inclusive design and community‑led initiatives are improving access to sport, services, information and everyday life. Below is a selection of interviews from the two days of coverage, available now as podcasts.
