Funding for Digital Radio

20 February 2013
Our station’s digital radio service, IRIS, is at risk – we need your help to save it.
Recent government funding cuts means that many community digital radio services across the country will have to be switched off. If the Government does not address the shortfall it could be ours.
Please join our campaign to save them at http://committocommunityradio.org.au/. Your participation will make a difference.
Through the Commit to Community Radio campaign, community radio stations and supporters like you are coming together to call on the Federal Government to secure a digital radio future for community broadcasters by allocating the necessary funding in the upcoming federal budget.
Digital radio is the future of free to air broadcasting – if we're to survive in the long-term we must maintain and secure our place alongside the national and commercial sectors on digital radio.
The all-important budget is not far away, so we need your support now.
Find out more and show your support for community radio by joining the campaign at http://committocommunityradio.org.au and like us on Facebook.
Care about community radio? Join us and keep IRIS on air.
