From this Sunday afternoon, April 7, we will be broadcasting the VFL match of the day from 1.30pm. We've had a lot of feedback from recent research, which suggested we should do more event broadcasting.
So each Sunday on 1179 AM we will cross to the crack call team for a preview of the game at 1.30pm and then a ball-by-ball call of the action until 5pm. We will be the only AM station in Melbourne calling VFL footy each week.
Note: we will continue with our normal Sunday schedule on our digital service, IRIS.
