The 2026 Census is to be completed on Tuesday August 11, 2026. To support the blind and low vision community in participating in the Census, the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has produced a range of accessible material and information.
To complete the form, people who are blind or have low vision can:
- Request braille forms from the ABS
- Request large print forms from the ABS
- Complete the Census online.
People who are blind or have low vision can request a braille or large print form via the ABS Census online contact form or over the phone on 1800 181 227.
