Vision Australia Radio is giving Melbournians the chance to win 1 of 5 family passes (two adults and two children under 18) to the Herb Chilli Festival valued at $65 each. To win, simply email [email protected] and tell us why you would like to go. You must submit your entry by 4pm Wednesday March 13 at 7pm. Five lucky families will be chosen and notified via email the following day. Entries must include your postal address for delivery of tickets.
The Herb and Chilli Festival has been an annual event since 2012 and has grown to become one of Melbourne's not-to-be-missed food and wine events. Every year thousands descend on Wandin in the picturesque Yarra Valley to sample and learn about the many herb and chilli varieties and how to use them.
Visitors can spend time learning about herbs and chillies, how to grow them, how they fit into our lives, taste them and have a bit of fun along the way. The festival features talks from experts and renowned herbalists on various aspects of the plants, cooking demonstrations and fabulous entertainment with music and dance from around the world.
Head along to browse more than 80 stalls, selling all types of delicious international dishes from Mexico, Turkey, India, South America, Europe and the list goes on! Try mouth-watering chilli, Cambodian BBQ, handmade ice-cream, the freshest local berries, exotic cakes, chilli beer, fine local wines, superb juices and fantastic coffee.
