Last week on Behind the Scenes, artistic directors Laura Lethlean and Katie Cawthorne talked about their new play, The Three Graces, that premiered at Theatre Works in St Kilda recently.
The play is part of Theatre Works' Chapter 2 Program, and to explain more about the program, this week we chat to Theatre Works general manager, Dianne Toulson.
We also meet Tyran Parke, who recently became head of music theatre at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA). That’s not all this Green Room Award winning music theatre director has been up to, though. He’s been busy working with Todd McKenney and Rachael Beck on the new production of Barnum at the Comedy Theatre. This week we chat about Barnum, the VCA and all things music theatre.
Next, we’re off to the movies, and this time it’s a real mixed bag. D-Day in 3D at Imax, John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum, Korean hit, Burning, and romantic comedy with Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron; The Long Shot. What do we make of all these? To find out you’ll have to listen to this week’s Behind the Scenes with Chris Thompson, right here on Vision Australia Radio.
