The Radio & You survey will gather vital information from you, our listeners, on what you love about community radio, what you’d change, and how it impacts your life.
The more people who complete the survey, the more data we’ll gather, to get a real understanding of the true value of community radio in Australia.
What’s it all about?
Behind the scenes, the Radio & You survey is part of a landmark research project, which will show the government how THEIR investment in community radio helps our nation. Industries involved include Indigenous/First Nations radio, Ethnic and Multicultural radio, Disability radio (such as Vision Australia Radio), and Faith-based radio. The research is being conducted across Australia by trusted social research companies.
We KNOW that 5.13 million Australians listen to community radio every week, for 17 hours on average. We KNOW this builds vital community, changes lives, and makes us a better, healthier nation. But can we measure it, and prove it, with numbers?
That’s what this survey will do.
By collecting this info, we’ll be talking the language of key government bodies, who make the big funding decisions.
