According to the latest figures from the trusted McNair YellowSquares radio listener survey, Vision Australia Radio’s average monthly listener figures have jumped to 701,000 people across Australia*.
That’s more than 700,000 of you tuning in to our radio services across Perth’s 990AM, Adelaide’s 1197AM, Melbourne 1179AM, our digital services and regional Victorian stations. Whilst our audience has grown to 82,000 in Perth (up from 64,000 in July 2018), our Perth audience has increased in reach from 103,000 in July 2018 to now 120,000 in the first figures released for 2019.
Those tuning in to our Melbourne services are responsible for a huge increase, up from 394,000 six months ago, to 450,000 now. Add our regional Victorian listeners and around 500,000 Victorians are hearing our great content each month.
Let us take this opportunity to thank you, our dedicated listeners for tuning in and being a part of what we do. It means so much to us to know that the hours our volunteers dedicate to researching, reading and producing our content is being appreciated by the community. If you love what we do, we hope you tell your friends about our service and share the community radio love!
