Perth Fringe World Festival is running until the 17th of February and we are highlighting two of our recent interviews recorded in our Perth studios with Fringe World artists.
In the first podcast, Award-winning mezzo-soprano singer Grace King is making her Fringe World debut with a brand-new show, Playtime with Grace & Fergus: The Musical. Grace will appear with newcomer Chelsea Gibson and Little Birdy gold record-awarded musician Fergus Deasy. During the conversation Grace describes the show as an intimate, uplifting, funny musical journey in which she and Fergus are friends searching for love and for the best mating and dating song. Here she speaks to Vision Australia Radio’s Terry Plank for a special mini-episode of It’s All About The Music. Our second podcast in highlight today features The UK’s Tom Skelton, a character comedian and improviser, who also happens to be legally blind. He’s had four smash hits at Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and is no stranger to Perth’s Fringe World either, having performed here numerous times. Here he speaks to Vision Australia Radio’s Gemma Sidney about his experience of Perth, as well as his two new fringe shows.
