Vision Australia Radio understands the importance of our valued audience members being kept up to date on public transport news, be it disruptions, changes to the network or community events that promote safe and accessible transportation.
Our Melbourne based listeners may be interested to learn that Metro Trains, V/Line, Yarra Trams, Kinetic and Travellers Aid will be hosting a free Try Before You Ride day again in 2024, scheduled to take place at Southern Cross Station in May.
Attendees will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with stationary vehicles and the station with assistance from transport operators and Travellers Aid. Plus opportunities to learn about safe travel on the PT network and much more!
Yarra Trams will assist attendees in movable journeys between nearby tram stops.
