Vision Australia Radio is proud to support a great bushfire relief fundraiser for Rotary Club of Australia’s Rotary National Bushfires Appeal.

We have all seen the disastrous fires that have erupted, taking lives as well as destroying hundreds of homes and properties across Australia.

Rotary is once again looking to provide support for families in need. Several Rotary Districts and Clubs have established projects which are ready and able to accept donations.

Kooyong based Vision Australia Radio volunteer/ presenter Mike Cannon and his rock and roll/ country band Boomers Jukebox have come together to give their time to a fundraiser on Sunday 19th January. The band will be presenting the hits of a golden age that you know and love, with plenty of raffles and prizes on offer across the afternoon of events. A gold coin is requested on entry but a stocked up wallet is certainly suggested to help the organisers make a real impact.

The Boomers’ Jukebox Bushfire Fundraiser will run from 2:30pm until 5:30pm at Clayton Bowls Club 37A Springs Rd, Clayton South VIC 3169. No pre tickets are required, simply come along if you are in the area.
