Important information about Vision Australia Radio broadcast changes

25 June 2026

From 1 July 2026, there will be some changes to the way Vision Australia Radio broadcasts in selected locations.

Vision Australia Radio will no longer broadcast on AM radio in Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne. However, our DAB+ services, including Vision Australia Iris and Vision Australia Radio, will continue to broadcast across these three capital cities as they have for many years.

There will be no changes to our AM and FM radio network across regional Victoria and southern New South Wales. Listeners to VA Radio on DAB+ in Darwin will also continue to receive their service as normal.

A substantial amount of work is currently underway to update our program guides on the Vision Australia Radio website. In the meantime, we would like to share our local broadcast guides, which take effect from 29 June 2026.

We will advise our radio listeners/audio consumers as soon as our regular online program guides have been updated.
