The Australian Open (AO) returns to Melbourne Park in 2025, and Vision Australia Radio (VAR) is thrilled to partner with AO Radio to bring you all the action live from 12 to 26 January. Tune in for every match on Rod Laver Arena, along with regular score updates from the outside courts. Enjoy news, player interviews, and expert commentary directly from AO Radio's presenting team.

Win tickets to the 2025 Australian Open All Abilities Day
Vision Australia Radio, in partnership with Tennis Australia, is excited to give you the chance to win one of 100 double passes to All Abilities Day, happening on Tuesday, 21 January 2025.
Now in its third year, All Abilities Day celebrates inclusivity within the tennis community and highlights the social and physical benefits of tennis for people of all abilities. This event showcases Tennis Australia’s dedication to accessibility, featuring:
- Blind and Low Vision (BLV) Tennis
- Wheelchair Tennis
- Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHOH) Tennis
- Intellectual Disability & Autism Tennis
- Para Standing Tennis.
In addition, All Abilities talent will perform across various stages at the AO site. As one of the most inclusive sporting events globally, the Australian Open offers features such as guide dog relief areas, Bindi Maps, and Action Audio to enhance the experience for people who are blind or have low vision.

Action Audio is a world-first system for augmenting live sports with sound, designed to give people who are visually impaired the ability to follow games in real-time.
Developed in partnership with Tennis Australia and Monash University, Action Audio uses data from a ball monitoring computer vision system to emphasise key moments of play with a 3D sound design system that has been developed with the blind and low vision community.
